ae.houseofvarada.com is operated by Vrudhi Anant, an Indian company and the parent entity behind the House of Varada brand. By visiting our store and placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Vrudhi Anant. "You" refers to the customer visiting or purchasing from our UAE store.
1. WHO WE ARE
House of Varada is an Indian fashion brand specialising in evening wear, party dresses, and resort wear. We are based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, and ship our products internationally including to the United Arab Emirates.
Our UAE store at ae.houseofvarada.com is operated exclusively for customers in the UAE and other international markets. If you are based in India, please visit our India store at houseofvarada.com.
2. USING OUR WEBSITE
By accessing our website, you confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others.
You must not misuse our website by knowingly transmitting harmful data, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or engaging in any conduct that disrupts our services.
3. PRODUCTS AND PRICING
We take care to display our products as accurately as possible, including colours, designs, and measurements. However, slight variations may occur due to differences in screen displays and the handcrafted nature of our garments.
All prices on our UAE store are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED). Payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) at the prevailing exchange rate. Your bank or card issuer may apply a foreign exchange conversion fee — this is beyond our control.
We reserve the right to update pricing at any time without prior notice. Any price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.
We offer custom sizing on select products at no additional charge. Custom and made-to-measure orders are crafted specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged.
4. ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS
By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase a product. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion.
Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation. Please review this carefully and contact us immediately if any details are incorrect.
Cancellation windows:
- Standard size orders: may be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order
- Custom and made-to-measure orders: may be cancelled within 6 hours of placing the order
To cancel an order, please email care@houseofvarada.com with your order number. Cancellation requests via WhatsApp alone will not be accepted.
5. SHIPPING
We ship from India to the UAE via our courier partners. Estimated delivery times are 7 to 10 business days from dispatch. These are estimates and not guarantees — delays may occur due to customs clearance or circumstances beyond our control.
We offer free shipping on all UAE orders. Any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges levied by UAE customs authorities are the responsibility of the customer.
We are not liable for delays caused by customs clearance procedures.
6. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Our return and exchange policy for UAE customers is outlined in detail on our Exchange Policy page. In summary:
International orders are not eligible for exchange or return unless the product received is damaged, defective, or different from what was ordered. In such cases, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs.
Custom, made-to-measure, and sale items are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances.
7. PAYMENTS
We accept international Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards via our payment provider Cashfree. We also accept PayPal.
All transactions are processed securely. We do not store your payment details on our servers.
In the event of a failed transaction, please contact your bank or card issuer before reaching out to us, as the issue is often resolved at the card level.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on ae.houseofvarada.com including images, designs, text, and branding is the intellectual property of Vrudhi Anant and House of Varada. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from our website without our express written permission.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We make every effort to ensure our website and products meet your expectations. However, we cannot guarantee that our website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vrudhi Anant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products.
10. CONSUMER PROTECTION
We are committed to fair and transparent trading. In accordance with UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection and Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Trading through Modern Technology, we ensure:

- Clear communication of our exchange and returns policy

- Timely response to customer complaints and queries

11. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of our UAE store or purchase of our products shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India.
However, we acknowledge that as a seller to UAE consumers, we are subject to applicable UAE consumer protection legislation including Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 and Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under UAE law.
